How to Use:
Carpet spotter
- Vacuum carpet thoroughly
- Prepare the diluted solution as directed. 1 to 5 parts warm water.
- Pretest by applying a solution of CITRAFRESH in an inconspicuous area. Cover with a clean white towel and leave for 5 minutes, then check the towel for colour transfer.
- If no colour transfer, proceed with cleaning.
- Blot excess liquid or remove solid soils before cleaning.
- Using a trigger spray apply CITRAFRESH to the outside edge of the stain. DO NOT oversaturate carpet.
- Work product towards the middle of the stain with a clean white towel. DO NOT spread the stain by scrubbing with a sponge.
- Leave the product to remain on the stain for 2 minutes.
- Using a clean, wet, white towel blot the treated area.
- Repeat the process until no more soils come up in the towel.
- Rinse the treated area with cold water and blot or extract.
- Repeat above until all stain is removed.
Carpet pre-spray
- Vacuum carpet thoroughly and move furniture or place foil under legs.
- Dilute CITRAFRESH as directed. 1 to 15 parts warm water in spray tank.
- Pre-spray the carpet to be cleaned paying special attention to high traffic or heavily soiled areas. DO NOT saturate carpet however ensure it is consistently wet.
- Allow pre-spray to remain on the carpet for 3 - 5 minutes. Always work on a manageable area and DO NOT allow the pre-spray to dry.
- Extract the carpet with clean water and leave it to dry. If necessary provide ventilation to reduce drying times.
